In a modern world Vampyres walk among us.
When a teenager receives the Mark, an outline of a crescent moon upon their forehead, life as a human ends and immediately they have to move to the House Of Night. The House is a private school for Marked teenagers or as they are called Fledglings. Over the next 4 years a fledglings body makes the required changes to become a Vampyre. However not all who are Marked will make the change as death takes them first.
Zoey Redbird is a newly marked fledgling, with her life turned upside down, who finds herself grasping to fit in with her new life and create some normalcy. The Goddess Nyx, who the highly matriarchal society of Vampyres worship, has other plans for Zoey. Nyx grants Zoey special abilities and helps to guide her through the trials that will lead to her and the House of Nights destiny.
The House Of Night is truly a perfect blend of magic and imagination. A new face has been given to Vampyres leading me wanting more of this fantastic story of true friendship and courage.
